River In Eden Counseling, LLC

Dr. Reid serves as River In Eden's Director of Clinical Supervision where she supervises provisionally licensed clinicians as they work towards professional licensure. Dr. Reid has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Upsala College; Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University, Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary; and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Drew University graduating with distinctions as a Hilliard Fellow. Dr. Reid has taught at Drew University and Pillar College in New Jersey as an adjunct professor and was hired at Pillar College as Interim Department Chair of Psychology and Counseling. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers New Jersey chapter.


Dr. Reid is a licensed clinical social worker. Since 1973, she has been employed by various social services/mental health agencies and educational institutions in New Jersey. She has vast experiences working with individuals, youth, families, and communities in the capacities of mental health clinician, substance abuse clinical coordinator and clinician, violence prevention, ministries coordinator, community systems coordinator, educational curriculum and program development, student intern supervisor, professional trainer/ consultant, and motivational speaker. She has received post graduate advanced training in the fields of family therapy and addictions at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Piscataway, N.J.
