Preparing Tomorrow’s Counselors, Social Workers, and Community Leaders, Today!

What is the mission of the Future Helpers Summer Academy?

Our mission is to introduce high school scholars to the helping professions—counseling, social work, psychology, and human services—through structured learning, ethical foundations, and hands-on exposure. We aim to inspire the next generation of compassionate, skilled, and community-minded helpers.

What is the long-term vision of the Academy?

We envision a pipeline of well-prepared, diverse young leaders entering the mental health and human services fields with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Our vision is to increase representation, ethical leadership, and community impact by equipping scholars early with understanding and direction—before they choose their college major.
