CRITERIA FOR HIGH ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP (50% Off):
To qualify, scholars must meet all of the following requirements:
1. Straight A’s on the Third Semester Report Card
The scholar must show all A’s in every subject for the third marking period/semester of the current school year.
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.8–4.0+
The scholar must have a cumulative GPA between 3.8 and 4.0 or higher at the time of application.
3. Official GPA Verification Required
GPA must be verified through either:
- The third semester report card, or
- An official school letter on school letterhead, signed by an administrator or counselor
- Verification must be uploaded with the High Achiever/Performer Scholarship application.
4. Scholar Statement Required
The scholar must submit a 150–250 word personal statement explaining:
- Why they want to attend Future Helpers Summer Academy
- How this experience aligns with their future academic or career goals
Financial Terms
If awarded, the family must meet the following requirements:
- A $200 non-refundable deposit is due immediately to accept the award
- The remaining $197.50 must be paid within 45 days of award notice
(Families may choose to pay in full instead)
Failure to submit the deposit or remaining balance within the required timeline will result in the scholarship being reassigned to another eligible scholar.
Note:
- Only one High Achiever Scholarship is awarded each year.
- Scholarship decisions are based on academic merit and submitted documentation.
- All scholarship decisions are final.
Scholarships
CRITERIA FOR FINANCIAL NEED SCHOLARSHIPS CRITERIA (75% Off):
To qualify, scholars must meet all of the following requirements:
1. A parent/guardian must meet the updated financial-need application requirements.
Families must submit one of the following forms of documentation OR a hardship explanation.
Accepted Documentation (submit one):
- Proof of free or reduced lunch eligibility, OR
- Proof of receiving SNAP, TANF, SSI, or other federal/state assistance, OR
- Most recent 1040 tax form (only the Adjusted Gross Income section), OR
- School counselor or administrator letter confirming financial hardship, OR
- Written parent/guardian hardship explanation outlining financial strain, job loss, medical expenses, or other circumstances affecting ability to pay
All documentation is reviewed privately and confidentially.
Scholar Requirements
2. To ensure awards go to committed scholars, applicants must also submit Scholar Statement (150–250 words) explaining:
- Why they want to attend Future Helpers Summer Academy
- Why they are interested in counseling, social work, psychology, or human services
- What they hope to gain from the program
Financial Terms
If awarded, families must meet the following payment requirements:
- A $50 reduced-rate, non-refundable deposit is due immediately to accept the scholarship.
- The remaining $148.75 must be paid in full within 30 days of the award notice. (Families may choose to pay in full instead)
- If the balance is not paid by Day 30, the scholarship is automatically reassigned to another eligible scholar on Day 31.
Note:
- Two Financial Need Scholarships are available each year.
- Scholarship awards are based on documentation, demonstrated need, and scholar engagement.
- All decisions are final.

We proudly offer three (3) scholarships annually for the Future Helpers Summer Academy. These scholarships provide one high achieving scholar with the opportunity to attend the academy with half off of their tuition. It also provides two scholarships boasting a 75% reduced tuition rate to scholars who demonstrate genuine financial need that would prevent them from participating without assistance
